Lightweight Poncho
The poncho is intended for use as a rain garment, ground sheet, blanket, sleeping bag cover, or shelter half.
Description
The poncho has sides and ends that are hemmed and equipped with snap fasteners for closing, as well as grommets for attaching tent pin lines and liner tie laces. The poncho has a hood with a drawcord for face opening adjustment. In addition, a drawcord is included for standard size, woodland camouflage poncho for waist adjustment. The poncho is available in two sizes: standard and small. The standard size poncho measures 92 inches long by 66 inches wide. The small size poncho measures 82 inches long by 60 inches wide.
Material
The coated cloth utilized in the fabrication of the poncho is 1.6 ounce rip-stop nylon cloth, conforming to type III of MIL-C-7020, coated on one side with polyurethane, conforming to MIL-C-43473.
