OG-507 Hot Weather Cap
The OG-507 hot weather cap is a baseball-style cap, with a visor and stiffner on the inside front, and was intended for wear as a component of the hot weather field uniform and the OG-507 utility uniform.
Description
The cap is a close fitting style having a six-piece unlined crown, with sewn eyelets centered on each crown piece, except the two front pieces; a mesh stiffener at front; a rubber interlined visor; and a synthetic leather sweatband.
Material
The basic material is polyester/cotton twill cloth, dyed olive green 507, conforming to type II, class 3 of MIL-C-43791.
