CO/PD 04-19: PERSONAL ARMOR, ENHANCED SMALL ARMS PROTECTIVE INSERT
Purchase description CO/PD 04-19 covers the Enhanced Small Arms Protective Insert (ESAPI) worn by ground troops. When placed in the Outer Tactical Vest (OTV) / Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV) or Soldier Plate Carrier System (SPCS) (as a component of the Interceptor Body Armor (IBA) system) the insert will provide ballistic protection from specific 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm rifle rounds.
