The FR anti-flash gloves are intended to protect the hands and forearms exposed to transient elevated temperatures and flash from weapons, and are used with the FR anti-flash hood.

Material

The basic material used for the gloves is cotton flannel cloth, flame retardant treated conforming to MIL-C-24933.

Design

The gloves are a clute-cut pattern, with an attached one-piece elbow-length gauntlet gathered with elastic braid to provide wrist and elbow take up.
