Configuration
The MOLLE II modularity allows for commanders to tailor the loads to meet mission needs without unnecessary extra pockets and gear.
FLC Configuration
- Rifleman
- three double 30 round magazine pockets
- two fragmentation grenade pockets
- two M4 three magazine side x side pouch was added later to hold up to 12 magazines.
- Pistolman
- four single 9mm magazine pockets
- two fragmentation grenade pockets
- SAW Gunner
- two 200 round magazine pockets
- two 100 round magazine pockets
- Grenadier
- ten single high explosive grenade pockets
- two double high explosive grenade pockets
- two double illumination round pockets
- Medic
- four zippered medical pockets for the vest
- three double 30 round magazine pockets
- a specialized panel loading medical bag that has an additional four removable medical pockets attached to it.
- Two canteen/general purpose pouches are issued regardless of duty position.
Load Configuration
MOLLE II load configurations are the same as the MOLLE load configurations except that the LBV and the butt pack are replaced by the FLC and the waist pack respectively.
