FM 5-20: Engineer Field Manual, Camouflage

Field manual 5-20 provides a comprehensive reference and guide in all aspects of camouflage. It describes in detail the principles involved in concealing or disguising troops, vehicles, weapons, and field installations.

History

  • 1990-11-14: Superseded by FM 20-3.
  • 1968-05-20: This revision, Camouflage, [pdf] supersedes FM 5-20, 21 January 1959; FM 5-21, 23 December 1958; and together with TM 5-200, 25 September 1959, supersedes FM 5-23, Field Decoy Installations, 3 October 1956, and all changes.
  • 1959-01-21: This revision, Camouflage, Basic Principles and Field Camouflage, [pdf] supersededs FM 5-20, 9 February 1944, and FM 5-20A through F including all changes.
  • 1958-12-23: FM 5-21 supersedes FM 5-20G.
  • 1956-01-19: FM 5-22 supersedes FM 5-20H and so much of FM 5-20D and F.
