Marine Corps Stuff Sack

After Action Reports from Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom demonstrated a compelling need to provide a waterproof bag to protect personal gear from the elements, rain, sand, snow, and moisture. The Marine Corps Stuff (MACS) Sack will provide Marines a better method of waterproofing and sorting their personal gear stored inside the ILBE packs.

Features

  • Waterproof bag construction with an easy-to-use single-strap roll-top closure and a bottom handle that can be operable with insulated gloves.
  • Pressing down while rolling the top closure automatically excels air through its automatic purge valve. The valve is a flush-mounted, hands-free check valve, with no metal or hard plastic parts.
  • Durable, lightweight fabric will not degrade with flexing, environmental temperature or humidity or chemicals from weapon lubricants or insect repellent. Smooth internal and external surfaces to facilitate packing and compression.
  • 7 in. diameter, 18 in. height, 549 cu. in. (9 L)
